RCCI mourns the sudden passing of vice president Dube

FERNDALE – The RCCI is greatly saddened by the sudden loss of an amazing, dedicated and professional man.

FERNDALE – The Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is shocked by the sudden death of its vice president, Maxwell Dube, who died on 7 February.

Dube was leaving his office at around 8pm when he started feeling nauseous and collapsed soon afterwards. He is believed to have either suffered a stroke or heart attack, but the exact cause of his death is not yet known.

The chamber’s president, Neil Pollock described Dube as a man who was filled with compassion and drive to assist businesses and to promote all objectives of the RCCI.

He was the founder and editor of the Northern Business Review and the Cosmo Chronicle and gave exposure to small businesses and always gave the chamber news each month. He also led the executive committee’s media portfolio.

“All his peers and colleagues had the utmost respect for him and enjoyed working very closely with Max on many occasions. He proudly represented chambers at many events, professionally, covering the news and presenting true and quality feedback at all times,” said Pollock.
