Curro Aurora achieves 100 per cent pass rate

Curro Aurora Grade 12 pupils achieved a 100 per cent pass in this year’s Independent Examinations Board (IEB) National Senior Certificate examinations.

“Curro Aurora is very proud of its continued academic success. Our pupils have excelled once again with a 100 per cent pass rate and 94 per cent Bachelor’s Degree pass. Pupils achieved marks that are truly worthy of commendation,” said the school’s academic head Dion Kotse.

The school’s top achievers are Claire Rothero, Heiletje van Zyl, Aiden van Geest, Shayur Bagwandeen, Kyle Ogden and Rebecca Douglas-Henry.

“Heiletje van Zyl did us very proud by achieving a result in the top one per cent in the country for Afrikaans First Additional Language,” he said.

The school congratulated all pupils from this year’s class and indicated that the gratitude was due to their teachers for the extra miles walked over the years, their parents for their support and to the IEB for another wonderfully administered NSC examination.
