Creative minds gather
FERNDALE – Local talent enriches the lives of others...
Community members were invited to support local talent and better their lives through their creations at the Creative Art Fair held on 19 to 20 November.
The fair takes place every year and shows off the talents of people who have learned a particular skill.
Nina Vanjakob, founder of Out Of The Box Skills Development Centre said, “At the fair, people get to sell the goods they have learned to make and this will assist in them having a great Christmas. Along with that, they can work towards saving money in an aim to have a better future for themselves.”
She added that some of the proceeds of the fair would go towards funding the centre so that it could help skill more people.

The fair was a great success as people around Ferndale came out to support the craftsmen and women.
The exhibitors all had a very unique stall which invited guests to buy their products.
Exhibitors were ecstatic to have their work out for all to see and marvel over while customers were definitely spoiled for choice as they had an array of great things to buy.
