A big thank you!

GREYMONT – Thank you, from Anita Smyth.

Tristan Smyth, the 12-year-old boy that survived close to 24 hours in the Magaliesberg mountains on 15 October, had a search party of 30 people and two helicopters searching for him.

His mother, Anita Smyth, would like to thank the following organisations and rescuers that helped and treated him:

  •  Mountain Club of South Africa Search and Rescue
  •  Netcare 911
  •  SAPS airwing
  •  SAPS North West K9 Unit
  •  Mountain Sanctuary Park
  •  Off Road Rescue Unit
  •  Lonmin Surface Rescue
  • The farmers that found him, Johan and Thea Naude.

“And everyone else I forgot to mention,” she said.
