The ‘Boogie 4 Boobies’ fundraising dance was a smashing success.
More than 200 excited line dancers, ballroom dancers and guests crammed the Blairgowrie Recreation Centre hall to have fun for a good cause on 3 September. Hosted by The Breast Health Foundation and Rainbow Line Dancers, the event was held to raise much-needed funds for the foundation.
Leon Nel from Rainbow Line Dancers said, “We raised about R8 000 for breast cancer. It was a huge success, everybody enjoyed the dancing.”
The entertainment delighted all who attended and dancers hailed from Samba Heat Ballroom School; Calour de Espana – Spanish Dancers; Divya Art of Dance – Bollywood Dancers; while DJ Charlie provided the music.
