The 2017 leaders were announced at a formal assembly which was held at Rand Park High School on 19 August.
A total of 50 Grade 11 pupils pledged their commitment to the school during their forthcoming term of leadership service and were congratulated by the senior executives of the school as well as the 2016 leaders whose term of office ended on the same day.
The 23 August was the day of the formal appointment of the new leaders where they received their leadership ties at the Tie Ceremony. These ties form part of the leaders’ school uniform which helps distinguish them amongst their peers. The new leaders were accompanied by their proud parents.
The 2017 head leaders are as follows:
Head boy: Shane Botha
Head girl: Storme Johnson
Deputies (boys) : Brandon Harris and Richard Kaldenberg
Deputies (girls): Bianca Brümmer and Lihle Dhlamini.
