Inspiring young models

CRESTA - Misses Style SA 2006 want to teach what she knows to young aspiring models and build up their confidence.

She is not only a previous model, she is also a coach for young aspiring models, a movie producer, actress and a judge at various pageants and model competitions.

Jolene Kruger from Cresta was nominated by previous Mrs South Africa and friend, Tereza Troskie to participate in the 2004 Mrs South Africa competition. “I have always wanted to be a model. I used to play dress up and pose in front of the mirror,” said Kruger. In 2006 this woman with the long and wavy hair won Mrs Style SA. She described this as a huge privilege.

Kruger recently opened a modelling school that she is running from her home. “I don’t want to only teach children modeling skills, but how to present themselves as young women in a business area and teach them confidence.” Kruger explained that she also wants to teach married women how to dress themselves and do their make-up.

“My brother drowned a few years ago. Right before he died he told me that he knows that modelling is my passion and that I should open a modelling school,” she said.

Kruger has a passion for children and animals. In 2012, she acted in a film created to make people aware of drug addiction.

“I strongly believe that I am able to help people and that God put me in this position so that I can help people in need,” said Kruger. She added that she wants to keep on helping children and give little girls confidence through her modeling school. “I want to look back at my life and say that I have done everything that I wanted to,” concluded Kruger.
