Strijdom Park gets ‘fibred’ up

STRIJDOM PARK – Local businesses will now be able to benefit from high speed internet access.

BitCo, an internet and telephone service provider, is hard at work installing a fibre network to service businesses in the Strijdom Park area.

Cable infrastructure specialist Global Platinum Solutions (GPS) was commissioned to lay the fibre optic network.

BitCo’s managing director Jarryd Chatz said this initiative will provide businesses with access to a high-speed fibre network. “GPS is committed to completing the project as quickly and quietly as possible,” said Chatz.

“We assure businesses that all reasonable measures have been taken to ensure the work is carried out in the neatest, most timeous manner to ensure minimal disruption,” Chatz added.

“I am very excited about this roll out as it will offer fast reliable internet access to the business owners in the area. A number of fibre options have the facility to be linked to security cameras and the ability to make calls. This will boost the business in the area which will benefit the whole ward in the long run,” said Ward 104 Councillor, Mike Wood.
