Palace Classic no match for Xperien

NORTH RIDING – Team Xperien enjoyed the Emperors Palace race in their bid to raise awareness for NGOs.

Team Xperien cyclists were at it again this weekend as they cycled for awareness for the non-government organisations, Love Trust and Wheel Well.

The team participated in the Emperors Palace Road Classic 2016 on 10 April. All the team members finished the 40km and 98km road race respectively. Wale Arewa, CEO of Xperien, participated in the 98km race, which started at 6.15am, said, “It was an easy race. I finished with ease and there were not that many hills in the race like in previous races like the 947 cycle race so it was a nice workout.”

Xperien, the North Riding based IT asset disposal specialists raise awareness and donations for Love Trust, that creates places of learning for under-privileged children, and Wheel Well, who is focused on the development of child road safety in South Africa. Cycling road races is the company’s way to raise awareness while having fun.

Monetary donations are accepted from sponsors or Xperien accepts a sponsor’s old computers, which the company then refurbishes and sells for cash that is also donated to either of the two organisations.
