1 GIG bundle for affected customers

FAIRLAND – MTN customers will be compensated with one GIG data bundles.

Mobile network operator, MTN, has announced that it would reimburse its customers who were affected by the intermittent connection issue from the evening of 14 to 15 February.

The operator assured that the problem was resolved and all services had been fully restored by 16 February.

The compensation would be awarded to affected customers who purchased a MTN 1-Day data bundle during those two days. The bundles could not be utilised due to the network outage.

Subscribers who will be recompensed have the option to choose the hour they wish to utilise the one GB data bundles that MTN would be offering as compensation.

Qualifying customers will receive a notification about the compensation including details of how to activate the one GB bundle.

“Our subscribers are free to engage with us on this matter through a range of our consumer touch points,” a network operator indicated in a statement.
