The IJW jewellery store staff were held at gunpoint by three armed suspects during a robbery at 12.30pm on 3 February, confirms Honeydew SAPS.
Three armed male suspects entered the store with hand guns. The suspects stole jewellery items ranging from rings and chains. “The suspects fled the scene and then joined five other males who were waiting outside the store,” added Honeydew SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs.
The suspects fled in two vehicles a silver Nissan Qashqai and a white Toyota Corolla.
The Honeydew SAPS are following leads pertaining to the case.
