GALLERY: Team Thandulwazi for a purpose

BRYANSTON – Team Thandulwazi participate in the Momentum 947 Cycle Challenge for the second time.

Momentum 947 Cycle Challange brought thousands of cycle enthusiasts to ride for a cause on 15 November.

For the second year running the St Stithians cyclists, dubbed Team Thandulwazi, participated in the Momentum 947 Cycle Challenge. Their aim was to raise funds for the Thandulwazi Maths and Science Academy.

There were 69 riders, the youngest of whom is ten years old. Donned in their Thandulwazi shirts, they rode for a purpose.

Team Thandulwazi includes a number of “dads and lads”: father and son teams riding for a good cause as well as 15 Old Stithians, some of whom came from as far as New Zealand, Canada and Australia.
