RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge pupils wows audience during their 'Shakespeare rocks' performance.

Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge pupils rose to the occasion during their Shakespeare rocks performance on 10 September.

Shakespeare rocks is a fresh, funny and up-to-date look at the life and times of William Shakespeare.

Pupils provided amusing glimpses into some of his works and how the man came to be.

Everything a parent would want their children to know about Shakespeare and the Elizabethan era became a reality on the evening.

Teachers and pupils worked on the project for about six months to deliver the best performances on the life of Shakespeare.

The question which dominated the stage was To be or not to be, would the world be our stage, would our soliloquy make the grade?

The play was also inspired by a spectacular script and seven exciting modern and energetic songs.

Principal of the school, Hilton Scott commanded his pupils for a job well done.

“I am so proud by the level of energy. They [pupils] were superb, and the energy was just unbelievable because they were living Shakespeare,” said the visibly proud Scott.
