The incident occurred at the deceased’s residence at Vista Villa complex in Midrand, where three male suspects entered her home and allegedly removed a laptop, iPhone and a firearm.The robbers allegedly strangled Mitha before leaving the premises.
Deliwe Zwakala (domestic worker) who had been pregnant at the time of the incident and of her arrest, appeared in court with her newly born baby. The State requested another postponement of the case to get the ballistics report.
The case will pick-up again on 16 August.
