No support for victims of bullying

We entrust the schools and teachers to take care of our children during their time at school.

Cheyanne du Toit writes:

Good day, I am not to sure how to go about this so I decided to write on your wall. In this weeks Randburg Sun on pg 6 you have an article written by Mel Naidoo, “The Real Bully” and it immediately stirred up so many emotions as I constantly have similar problems with my two girls aged 8 & 12. They have gone from being two confident, school loving children to two insecure, unsure, distrusting little girls who pretty much hate school now because of nasty bullies and even worse teachers who have an attitude of “They need to grow up and stop being so weak” or better yet, “The next parent that complains to the school about bullies both the child who is the bully and the victim will be punished as I don’t have time for tittle tales”. I am shocked and saddened as I place my most valuable and important items, my children, in their care, they can make or break a child and that is not fair. I am at my wits end with them and cannot see a light at the end of the tunnel. Something has to be done.
