Six people were injured following an accident on Beyers Naudé Drive, Randpark Ridge, on the morning of 21 May.
Netcare 911 media liaison officer Santi Steinman said that the accident occurred near CR Swart Drive.
“Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a light delivery vehicle and motor vehicle were involved in a side impact crash,” she said.
“Upon assessment… paramedics found that two occupants from the motor vehicle and four occupants from the light delivery vehicle sustained serious injuries. Among the occupants from the light delivery vehicle was a child of about four years old.”
The six injured people were treated on scene and then transported to various hospitals nearby for further treatment.
Traffic was affected as a result of the accident.
