St Stithians has a winning formula

BRYANSTON- St Stithians Girls’ College hold on to their winning formula when they beat Windhoek High School on the last day of the Easter Sports Festival

The Easter Sports Festival came to an end on 6 April.

Different netball teams tried to restore dignity after they were beaten in previous matches of the tournament.

Of the 16 netball teams that participated, there was no final winner, as the tournament was aimed at having fun.

St Stithians Girls’ College hold on tight to their winning formula, beating Windhoek 3–17 in their last match of the sports festival.

Trinityhouse Randpark did not disappoint when they beat the B team St Stithians Girls’ College.

A few girls from different netball teams were nominated for the Netball All Stars.

“The girls were nominated for their outstanding play at the St Stithians Easter Festival. Their merit is the same,” explained Clare McIntyre, one of the officials.

McIntyre added that after each game, the coaches recommend a player from their own team and oppositions.

“ A tally is kept throughout the competition and seven players with most recommendations go forward to receive the All Stars award.”
