Randburg Football Club to host golf day
RANDBURG – Golf day should be popular among golfers of all ages.
The Randburg Football Club’s U13 team plans to go to a Sporting Academy in Lisbon on 26 June, but in order to attend the club needs to raise funds.
Duare Pereira from the club explained that the R400 000 target includes accommodation and meals.
“We have decided to host a Golf Day on 20 March at Jackal Creek Golf Club.”
He explained that the day will take place in a Four Ball Alliance format and a four ball will cost golfers R2 000.
“This includes a golf cart for the day, dinner and a chance to win various prizes,” added Pereira.
Golfers will also participate in a Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and a Hole-In-One competition where the winners of each section will take a prize home.
“Players can come and register on the day prior to starting off with their game and the tee-off times will take place between 10.44 am and 12.36 pm.”
