Barnyard Theatre hosts a tribute to Elvis Presley

CRESTA – Put on your blue suede shoes and get ready to shake rattle and roll with hits from Elvis Presley at Cresta.

Shaky Russell  in association with the Barnyard Theatre Group presents Elvis Forever, a tribute to Elvis Presley.

This would be a tribute to the king of rock ‘n’ roll, showing at Emperors Palace Barnyard Theatre on 14 and 22 February, and The Cresta Barnyard Theatre on 15 and 26 February.

The Elvis Forever show promises to keep audience members on the edge of their seats with Shaky’s array of custom-made costumes and energetic performance.

“With his incredible vocal range and resemblance, Shaky Russell and an awesome live 10-piece cast will perform more than 30 of Elvis’ greatest hits. Experience the songs, the moves and the voice that created a worldwide phenomenon that had never been seen before,” said Jennie Baldree, president of the local Elvis Presley Fan Club.

Elvis Presley was one of the greatest singers and entertainers the world has ever known, and shook up the music industry for three decades before his death in 1977 at the young age of 42.

“His death created a void in the hearts of music lovers the world over, and [Elvis Forever] aims to fill that gap by paying tribute to the legend that was Elvis – both the man and the performer,” she said.

“This show will be a non-stop nostalgic party that takes you back to an age of discovery, when people enjoyed life and rocked like there was no tomorrow. The show captures the on-stage excitement of Elvis’ greatest performances and energetically reproduces hits spanning the 50s, 60s and 70s.”

Residents can look forward to timeless hits including Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, Love Me Tender, Always on my Mind, Burning Love, Can’t Help Falling In Love, Suspicious Minds and many more.

Shaky is an Elvis award-winning performer. He previously wowed audiences in Memphis USA (home of the real Elvis) making him one of today’s supreme Elvis Presley Performers.
