Please remember, don’t forget.
Politicians should keep their promises, not their secrets!
The unanswered question “What happens when Zuma is not in power”?
Will the Nkandla homestead become a white elephant tower? The five billion for his security and roads could have been better spent,
on permanent housing for the masses, instead of shacks and tents!
Remember the football world cup, and the fortune it didn’t make!
And the millions in bonuses, given for old time’s sake!
What about the upgrade of roads we’re paying for with E-Tolling?
At present we can hardly keep our traffic rolling!
What about the stadiums, built at huge cost?
Do they pay for themselves or are they another huge loss?
Politicians won’t tell us who ordered Nkandla or Guptagate,
And leave the long suffering public to their fate!
What about the Marikana disaster? More money down the drain,
Leaving Marikana widows to grieve with tears and pain!
What about the Oscar and Dewani trials? What a waste of money!
The verdicts and sentences were not very funny.
Then there is load shedding and black-outs,
ESKOM accepts the blame for maintenance not carried out!
The Mega Park grounds were maintained to the Nth degree,
And the C.E.O. was paid bonuses and a handsome fee.
The politicians turn a blind eye and say their hands are clean,
But any action on their part has yet to be seen!
Once politicians are elected they become lost souls,
Then they’re comfortable and go to sleep in their holes
Awaken them from their slumber at your peril,
They are dreaming, the dreams of the very devil!
Promises and secrets are all the public receives,
While politicians continue to lie and deceive!
The only thing a politician cares about is money in his pocket,
If asked to do manual labour his eyes pop out of their socket!
They are all fashioned from the same breed,
and don’t care about what you or I need.
Despite all the gossip, and all the rumours no-one can expose, Zoom, Zoom, Zuma.
The only one different was Nelson Mandela,
He was the exception, and a very fine fella!
