Women empower themselves

NORTH RIDING – Greg Mason, franchise owner of the world’s number one business coaching firm, help women empower themselves.

Founder of the Dare Woman Empowerment group and author of Dare to become a success: Lessons from ants, Mulenga Kasom, held a group meeting on 29 November to help upcoming and present businesswomen empower themselves further. The meeting took place at the Cabanga Conference Centre with the franchise owner of the world’s number one business coaching firm, Greg Mason as guest speaker of the day.

Kasom explained that she had started the group out of sheer passion and also because she wanted to empower other women. She started the first group in 2010 and since then it has grown bigger. “Usually, a group of about 40–50 women meet once a month to discuss, promote personal, business and professional development in what is now termed Dare Seminars. However, there is no restriction on how many people can attend,” said Kasom.

Franchise owner Mason gave the women some advice on how they can change their circumstances themselves by just changing the way they behave and think. One of the things that he stressed was that if you own your own reputation, own your actions, your channels, and messages, you will see a difference in the way you think and behave. “If you try and be someone else, it will be short lived – you have to be you,” explained Mason.
