Cell C customer angry at service provider

FAIRLAND– Cell C’s Sandton branch makes a client angry so much that they spent money on printing a banner to shame and name the service provider.

One of South Africa’s largest services providers Cell C is under fire after an angry customer made their private fight public.

A resident who is still unknown at this stage is so outraged so much that he/she posted a huge banner on the wall of World Wear Shopping Centre.

The banner reads The most useless service provider in SA- Cell C Sandton City…Below this message written in Cell C branding colours is the cellphone number of Cell C’s franchise manager Riaan van Rooyen.

The complainant resorted to this action because they could not receive help from the Cell C Sandton City branch’s customer service. Cell C’s media liaison Vinnie Santu told Sandton Chronicle that the service provider is aware of the poster and is trying to resolve the matter.

World Wear Shopping Centre management said they will comment on the matter shortly.

  1. I’ve had endless problems with Cell C. They don’t do their jobs properly and always tell me im in arrears. Even after paying them and ending the contract 5 years ago. I still get sms messages telling me I’ve been handed over. And when you phone them they make you hold for 30 minutes and promise you there is nothing owing just to sms you immediately after that call

  2. i had the worst experience with Sandton Cell C as well. Bunch of unprofessional, rude and dishonest store I have ever dealt with. This banner represents many!

  3. Never in my life have I experienced bad service like with Cell C…they told me I do not earn enough money to open a contract with them I laught and told them to go and F@?k themselfs. They offer you contracts over the phone when their useless telemarketers phone you but when you walk in to one of their shops its next to impossible! I decided to rather pay more and stay with Vodacom than to move to Cell Useless C.

  4. I agree that cell c has the most pathetic service. I took a contract in july. At the end of october over a thousand rand was taken out extra. Wen i queried this i was jus told two months of prorata was taken off 800 for two months. I dont even know fo wat. I even wrote a comment on cell cs facebook page nd i neva even got a response

This company takes your money and then ask u to send proof they took it and after u emailed and wrote step for step what happened they still let people phone u and u have to explain same story over and over. When they realise they made mistake you wait weeks for refund this now second time they deduct xtra money from my bank account its outragous all the trouble u have to go through to show them their mistakes i surely am disgusted at how they take money of people that pay by stop order and never in arears.
