UK’s best curves teaches Randburg children to dance
RANDPARK RIDGE – Yvonne Cardoso gets down with Avenir Nursery and Primary School.
Miss Beauty British Curve 2014 has arrived in Randburg and begun to teach our children her dancing style. Yvonne Cardoso won five awards at Miss Curvy UK this year, including the main title Miss Beauty British Curve, and Miss Top-model, Miss Fashion, Miss Best Evening Wear and Miss Best Swim Wear . Her flamboyant dance act, Dance Flavourz, also made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2010.
She recently started her company Kidz Dance Flavourz in Northwold, which this week started teaching nursery schools in Randburg how to dance. Cardoso visited Avenir Nursery and Primary School, Randpark Ridge, on 2 September. The children danced, clapped and sang with Cardoso, while she showed them her moves.
“It was very cute,” said owner of the school, Mandy Janse van Rensburg. “The children loved it and I enjoyed it.” Cardoso said afterwards that her company already teaches dancing to 25 nursery schools in London, and her company focuses on children because she loves children. Cardoso also admitted afterwards that she is thinking of moving back to South Africa.
