Hijacked car found in Fontainebleau

FONTAINEBLEAU – Land Rover hijacked in Cape Town and found in Fontainebleau, with Botswana number plates.

FONTAINEBLEAU – Linden Police found a vehicle which was allegedly hijacked in Cape Town on the corner of Rabie Road and 5th Street in the evening hours of 28 August.

Linden Police were still attempting, at 7.50pm on 28 August, to remove the vehicle, a white Land Rover, from the middle of 5th Street and place it on a flat-bed tow truck.

The vehicle had Botswana number plates which read: B 34 5 ATF.

A witness on scene described that the vehicle appeared to be still locked with the handbrake on, as the tow truck had to drag it onto its flatbed.
