Small businesses supported

BRYANSTON – Free resources for entrepreneurs and business owners are only a click away.

Information and advice for small and medium enterprises is free and available for all who need it. This was announced at an event hosted by the Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) at a business park in Bryanston on 12 August. Petro Bothma, group enterprise development manager for Business Partners, promoted the SME Toolkit, an initiative established by Business Partners, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and International Business Machines (IBM).

It is a website offering access to free information, resources and online training across various industries and business sectors. Business owners and entrepreneurs can access the resources by registering on the SME Toolkit website.

“I think entrepreneurs are in a bit of a void,” said Linda Blackbeard, chairperson of the RCCI. “They have some idea but need direction and assistance. If they contact us, we can assist.” She encouraged entrepreneurs who wanted business advice to email her.
