Waterborn Swimming Club athletes ready for Championships.
RANDBURG - Waterborn swimming club athletes aim for the stars at the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships and World Junior Swimming Championships.
Three of waterborn swimming club athletes have been selected by Swimming South Africa to compete at the Pan Pacific Championships as well as the World Junior Swimming Championships.
Brent Szurdoki and Justine Macfarlane will be competing at the 2014 World Junior Swimming Championships in Nanjing, China on 16 until 28 August, while Ricky Ellis competes in Brisbane in Australia from 21 until 24 August in the Pan Pacific Championships.
According to their head coach Peter Williams, it is a great honour for his team to compete in such a prestigious tournament. “I am very proud of the team and they are training hard for the upcoming championship,” he said.
