R6 000 reward for missing Molly

RANDBURG – R6 000 Cocker spaniel may be lost in your area.

RANDBURG – A reward of at least R6 000 is available to anyone who can find Molly.

Molly is a five-year-old Cocker spaniel who went missing in Northcliff about five weeks ago.

Spaniel Rescue South Africa offered R6 000 for her, no questions asked, and have enlisted a full-time search party to find her.

Mandy Robinson and Julia Bickel of Spaniel Rescue South Africa, said that the reward may soon increase.

“People are more motivated by money than doing what is right,” Robinson said.

“I definitely think she might be in Randburg now.”

Molly was initially used as a breeding animal, and mistreated.

She was then abandoned and rescued by Spaniel Rescue South Africa.

She was adopted by a foster mother, but ran away from a house on Carmel Avenue, Northcliff, on 19 June.

She was later seen in Linden, and, following the direction it appears she is headed in, Robinson believes she may be somewhere in Randburg.

Molly has been microchipped and was wearing a green Rogz collar when she went missing.

According to Bickel, the rescue group has received about 17 calls so far that Molly was found, but none of the dogs that were found were really Molly.

The rescue group also has a Facebook page entitled Help Find Molly

If you have seen Molly, phone Mandy Robinson on 078 305 6922.
