Warrant Officer Johannes Maja gave an overview of the arrests Randburg police made last week. A total of 35 alleged criminals were arrested in the city week ending 13 July.
“A total of 21 suspects were arrested for possession of cannabis,” said Maja. “Four more suspects were arrested on charges of fraud, and a further four were arrested for theft.”
Maja stated that three suspects were arrested over the weekend for assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm.
“The last three suspects were arrested in connection with possession of stolen property, drugs, and a business break-in respectively.”
Maja also gave the numbers of the different sector vehicles. “Please call them if you see anything suspicious.”
