A sound lesson

RANDPARK RIDGE – Rand Park High School's technical crew and staff learn valuable sound techniques from Academy of Sound Engineering.

RANDPARK RIDGE – Academy of Sound Engineering hosted a sound engineering boot camp at Rand Park High School on 4 July.

The school’s technical crew and staff learned important lessons about operating sound equipment, as the academy’s sound practical and pro tools lecturer Philip Hugo taught them about the sound desk, common problems encountered and managing sound equipment.

The pupils and staff were able to practically apply what they were learning on the school’s sound desk.

Hugo said that the academy, based in Aukland Park, hosted the free-of-charge boot camp to encourage skills development in the community.
