Fine businesswomen get together

RANDBURG- A business forum was launched to encourage businesswomen to network at the Oaklands Inn, Randburg.

Business networking is a crucial forum for social interaction and this was highlighted at the launch of Fine Women in Business Network’s Johannesburg branch on 5 June at Oaklands Inn, Randburg.

This business organisation was started by two women entrepreneurs, Patti Graham and Emily Muller, eight years ago in Cape Town.

Graham encouraged women to use their contacts in order to build their business relations – “Business networking means every business

contact is a business possibility. So, please use your contacts through referrals in order to support each other.”

The purpose of opening the first branch in Johannesburg is to create an inspiring platform for businesswomen to grow their businesses through networking.

Taryn Laing, who will be heading up the Johannesburg branch, emphasized the need for businesswomen to form alliances among themselves in order to expand their businesses.

“We are proud to launch a credible networking organisation such as Fine Women here in Johannesburg. We look forward to growing the network base, creating strategic alliances and connecting women in business,” said Laing

The next network will held on 3 July and will focus on social media and its importance to business owners.
