DA and ANC councillors to investigate street lights

RANDBURG – Ward 102 to see ANC and DA councillors investigate non-functioning street lights.

Ward 102 councillor David Potter (DA aligned) and member of the Mayoral Committee Matshidiso Mfikoe (ANC aligned) will together be inspecting non-functioning street lights in Ward 102 sometime this week.

The ward includes a part of Blairgowrie, Bordeaux, a part of Ferndale, President Ridge, a part of Bryanston, a part of Fontainebleau, Moret, Ruiterhof and Randburg CBD.

Potter asked that residents who know of street lights that are out of order in the area, and for which a complaint has been logged with the City of Johannesburg, to please urgently email him at david@oursubub.co.za with the suburb name, street name, house number or intersections between which street light(s) are out, date it was logged with the City and the reference number.

For example: Blairgowrie. Conrad Drive from Hillcrest to Mackay Avenue. Logged 12 May 2014. CPWEB12345.

He asked that if residents are unsure whether the light is still out, they should check the street during the first possible evening.

Also, if a street light is out of order, but has not been logged with the City, please log it using CPWEB as the password at https://citypower.mobi and email Potter the details as above.
