30 Seconds to Mars SA tour postponed

JOBURG - Thirty Seconds to Mars confirms South African tour dates scheduled for June have been postponed until November.

American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars has confirmed that its South African tour dates scheduled for 13 and 16 June have been postponed until later this year.

The new date for the Johannesburg concert, which will take place at the Coca-Cola Dome, is 21 November.

Big Concerts said in a statement that the event organisers hoped the postponement would not cause an inconvenience to the fans who had bought tickets. Fans were assured a fantastic concert later on in the year.

“The reason for this last minute change is a private medical issue. We send our best wishes to the band for a speedy recovery,” Dionne Domyan said.

All purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates in November, and she added,”In accordance with our terms and conditions, you may cancel or exchange your tickets up until 30 days before the rescheduled shows.”
