Christmas party for the less fortunate

Less privileged children entertained at Christmas Party.

Children of the Teddy Bear Clinic for Abused Children were invited to a Christmas party in Parktown.

Fundraiser at the clinic Michelle Rowe said, “The party takes place annually and this year we arranged a play, The Princess and the Frog which was written and performed by Lelanie Janse and Briony Horwitz of Pink Rabbit Productions.”

The little children’s faces lit up as soon as the frog appeared and they were drawn in until the end of the show. “The excitement levels rose when Santa made a secret appearance and surprised all of the children with gifts that were sponsored by various people from around Johannesburg.

“We would like to thank the manager of the Randburg Chamber of Commerce Linda Blackbeard, Lelanie and Briony who arranged the magical play. Without all of these people and the volunteers they day would not have been possible.”
