Local school learners took part in the maths competition

Students from the local Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge High School competed in the South African Team Maths Competition.

Four Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge High School learners got the privilege of participating in the 2023 South African Team Mathematics Competition at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).

Ashar Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Jarred Montjoie, and Ryan Donald were selected to represent Southern Gauteng/Wits (Wits Siyanqoba).

In the individual paper, Caleb Johnson came third and Jarred came tenth in Gauteng.

Additionally, Ryan and Jarred competed for the Southern Gauteng Senior High School A-Team (Wits Siyanqoba 1), which finished second nationally among the 34 senior teams that competed, with Western Province placing first.

The learners’ success highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge High School learners.

Their achievements not only bring pride to the school but also demonstrate the strong academic prowess of the school’s academic programme.
