Rand Park High School learner wants to make it big in acting

Tristan Smith's family has lots of stories to tell of his performances at a young age.

Tristan Smith writes:

I played Stevie Fender, originally known as Danny Zuko, in Rand Park High School’s major production called Summer of Love, which is based on the classic movie, Grease.

No matter who you are or what you bring to the table, major production is a place where you can express yourself and shine.

Every year at Rand Park High School, we put our own spin on the originals. This year, one may find a carefully and meticulously thought-out mix of the old and the new. Grease 2023 has something for everyone.

Practically since I came out of the womb, I have been singing and acting. Stories, like I had once interrupted my grandfather’s staffroom meeting to perform Celine Dion numbers, are big at family reunions.

I got my love of singing from my mom, who instilled my love for singing from the beginning. I plan to make it big. I am going to take my talent and put it on a global stage, performing for thousands.

Major production is one of the very few extra murals that can boast the moulding of professionals in the industry. I believe that everyone who has a talent they want to showcase, should join one. Let major production be your place to shine.
