Full-time programme students graduate at HTA School of Culinary Art

HTA School of Culinary Art host a graduation ceremony celebrating the success of its chefs.

HTA School of Culinary Art held a graduation for their full-time programme students at the Hilton Hotel, Sandton on February 11.

It was a day of celebration for the students as their hard work of the past couple of years’ blood, sweat and tears came to fruition. They are now able to go into the world of professional cookery and call themselves ‘chef’.

The graduation was well attended with more than 220 guests including 50 graduates who were able to attend on the day.

Among the keynote speakers was chef Kabelo Segone, the managing director of HTA Training and Development and in attendance a special guest Jeanab Morris-Makhene of City and Guilds – head of Africa.

The procession was led by HTA’s principal chef Carien van Tonder followed by her heart-warming emceeing remembering the graduates time at HTA, thereafter the awarding and top achievers were announced.
