Laerskool Unika learners tell us what their favourite subjects are

Young learners say they like English, Geography and Afrikaans the most.

There are always smiling faces at Laerskool Unika.

The primary school in Robindale boasts some excellent academic, cultural and sporting achievements and it is no secret that happy and motivated youngsters are behind this.

Randburg Sun recently visited the school and asked some learners about their favourite subjects and why.

Here is what they had to say…

CISKA VAN DER MERWE: My favourite subject is geography. I really like it and I love learning about the mountains. Photo: Nicholas Zaal
RUAN FOUCHEE: Afrikaans is my favourite subject because teacher Marzanne Koch is nice and lets us watch videos when she explains things. It is fun and helps us understand it. Photo: Nicholas Zaal
MIA SALMON: English is the best subject because I like the language and teacher Jean-Marie Cilliers goes out of the way to make it fun. I did an English speech about my other teacher Anton van Nieuwenhuizen being Captain America. Photo: Nicholas Zaal
ANNABELLE CLARKE: I love English the most because of my teacher Jean-Marie Cilliers. She is kind and fun. Photo: Nicholas Zaal
