Randpark Primary swimmer wins six gold medals

Joshua Drury is now the fastest 100m U12 breaststroke swimmer in South Africa.

One of Rand Park Primary’s very talented swimmers, Joshua Drury, swam in the Central Gauteng Aquatics Junior Championships held at Reddam House Helderfontein and came first in all six of his races.

He also swam his best 100m backstroke time, which also became a national record for the age division.

He won 100m breaststroke, 200m backstroke, 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle, 100m backstroke and 200m breaststroke.

Joshua Drury is now the fastest 100m U12 breaststroke swimmer in South Africa.

Ranked fourth in 200m breaststroke in the U12 age group in South Africa.

Ranked second in 50m breaststroke in the U12 age group in South Africa.

“We are so proud of his phenomenal achievements,” said the school’s sports coordinator, Nica Stadtlander.
