Linden CPF will host important public meetings in August

All four sectors will independently engage with the public during the month.

The Linden CPF would like to inform the public of a number of public meetings taking place in August.

Chair of the Linden CPF Annelize Tichauer said that all four sectors will be hosting public meetings. “[We encourage] members of the public to attend as we all work to fight crime in our precinct.”

“Public engagements will take place to introduce the existing CPF members to the community and to allow street groups, housing complexes, resident associations and others to become involved.”

Information will be given on the Community in Blue patroller programme to which they are hoping more volunteers will sign up. It is such an important arm of crime prevention strategies for the station and provides more eyes and ears in the community.”

The victim support unit is also hoping to get more support for the important work they do to assist victims of crime and who are available around the clock every day.
