Police bust alleged drug dealer at Banbury Cross Village

Police act on information received from the community to make arrests at the shopping centre.

A suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs, and bribery, during a bust at Banbury Cross Village.

Honeydew police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said the operation was carried out on April 12 at one of the shopping centre’s stores.

“Officers acted on information received and the team went and made the arrest,” he said.

“Drugs are always a problem here [in the Honeydew Police Precinct]. Every operation we do has something to fight the drug problem.”

The suspect will be charged and appear in court shortly.
