Charity shop knick-knacks

NORTHWOLD – The residential care facility in Northwold helps adults who have a physical disability.

The charity shop at Ann Harding Cheshire Home is booming.

But that doesn’t mean you should not pop in to buy something nice and contribute to a worthy cause.

Or perhaps you would like to donate goods to the store, which is a residential care facility in Northwold that caters to adults who have a physical disability.

One can find lovely clothes and shoes, books, CDs and DVDs, jewellery, kitchenware furniture, electronic goods and knick-knacks.

“Many of the goods are made or donated by community members,” explained the charity shop’s Lorraine Tebbutt.

“For instance the jam and cookies we sell are made by locals for us and we appreciate any help we can get.”
