Lights, Camera, Action!

DOUGLASDALE – One of the rare times teenagers will be celebrated for being dramatic and theatrical.

King’s College and Preparatory School recently hosted their annual house plays and audience members were amazed by learners’ humorous and thought-provoking performances.

The stage was set for the casts of the houses the Eagles, Falcons and Hawks to show what they were made of. Although everybody gave stellar performances, the Eagles – directed by Annelisa Ndlovu – had the audience in stitches with their comedy titled The Haunting of Chip Lake Lodge. They had the audience enthralled with their psychological drama and were congratulated with many awards, among them Best Play, Best Director and Best Stage Manager.
