Security company deploys additional resources amid protest concerns

JOBURG – In a statement, Beagle Watch Managing Director, Andre Aiton said that in light of the ongoing unrest and looting in Gauteng, the company was doing its best to ensure the safety of its clients.

Beagle Watch Armed Response has deployed an additional 10 vehicles and has further resources on standby, amid the ongoing unrest in Gauteng.

In a statement, Beagle Watch Managing Director, Andre Aiton said that in light of the ongoing unrest and looting in Gauteng, the company was doing its best to ensure the safety of its clients.

“To this end, we have already deployed 10 additional vehicles that are actively patrolling our footprint. We have placed extra resources on standby and our management and senior management teams are closely monitoring the situation. We have also identified risk areas, such as schools, businesses and public areas, and have increased patrols to secure these,” said Aiton.

Aiton further advised residents to be aware of so-called fake news. Much misinformation has spread since the start of the protests, which creates a sense of panic. He advised residents to only share information from reputable sources.
