Drummer crowned Junior Grand Champion

LYME PARK – Lesedi Mofolo's excellent drumming performance was rewarded with a trophy and the title of Junior Grand Champion at the ‘Kids with Talent SA’ music competition.


St Stithians Boys’ Preparatory School Grade 4 Lesedi Mofolo has a passion for playing his drums.

Mofolo recently participated in the ‘Kids with Talent SA’ music competition where his excellent performance was rewarded with a trophy and the title of Junior Grand Champion.

He was crowned as the winner in his age category on the drums which qualified him to participate in the grand finale.
Head of the music department at St Stithians Boys’ College Yvette Schoeman said, “Lesedi delivered a performance of the highest quality and impressed the judges with his technical ability, musicality, and overall skill on the drumset.”

He also won the overall instrumental category for U12. “This is a remarkable achievement for a boy his age, and we congratulate Lesedi for his hard work and excellence,” she concluded.
