Acacia Schools spreads Easter cheer

NORTH RIDING – Acacia Schools makes a donation of over 1 000 eggs to Northpoint Church.

Acacia Schools ran a charity drive over the last month where they collected Easter eggs.

The Easter treats were donated to a local church, however, the school’s learners were unable to assist with the handover of the donation as the school chose to prioritise their safety in these turbulent times.

The school collected an impressive 1 879 Easter eags for the Impophomo Hospital Ministry and Northpoint City Church. These Easter eggs were collected by Ntsoaki Khansi, on behalf of Impophomo Hospital Ministry.

The school expressed happiness about their collaborated effort and confidence that the eggs will be put to good use in this period, as a source of comfort for patients who have found themselves in the hospital. The school has always prioritised being involved in their local community in the best way they know and runs various projects throughout the school year.

“Our children felt a deep sense of compassion knowing that there are people out there don’t have what they have,” expressed Victoria Cullen, on behalf of the school.
