Parts of Randburg will have their lights out due to a planned power outage
RANDBURG – Areas to be affected by the planned power outage include, Ferndale, Bordeaux and Blairgowrie.
City Power Johannesburg has notified the residents of Bordeaux, Blairgowrie, Ferndale and Driefontein of a planned power interruption on 6 January.
The interruption will start at 9am until 5pm, City Power said it is essential maintenance on their networks.
In Bordeaux and Blairgowrie, these are the following streets that will have no power:
- Main Street
- Allan Street
- Republic Road
- Bluegum Avenue
- Morris Street.
In Ferndale:
- Evelyn Street
- Boris Street
- Garden Street
- Gordon Avenue
- McKay Street.
In Driefontein:
- Jean Street
- Louis Street
- First Avenue
- Nelson Street
- Orchard Street.
Power may be restored at any time, customers have been urged to treat their electricity supply points live at all times.
