Olivedale planned power outage today

OLIVEDALE – The planned interruption is for City Power to do maintenance work on the Olivedale substation which will affect surrounding areas.


City Power has notified residents of a planned power interruption today (31 October) from 10am to 6pm. 

The outage is for planned maintenance work on the Olivedale substation.

Areas affected include:

  • Bellairs Park
  • Bellair Park Ext 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9
  • Bromhof
  • Bromhof Ext 10, 11, 12, 15, 22, 23, 27, 30, 35, 38, 46, 50, 63, 64, 66, 67 and 68
  • Bryanston Ext 3, 25, 27 39 and 45
  • Ferndale Ext 14
  • Jukskei Park Ext 1, 2, 3, 6 and 9
  • North Riding Agriculture Holdings
  • North Riding
  • Northgate
  • Northgate Ext 8, 12, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 24, 37, 39, 40, 41, 42, 44 and 47
  • Northwold
  • Olivedale Ext, 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 17, 18, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27 and 31
  • Randparkrif Extenstion 6
  • Sharonlea
  • Strijdompark Ext 1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 22, 23, 25 and 27
