Netcare 911 responds to two accidents early Sunday morning

RANDBURG – Three patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries and were treated on the scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.


According to a released statement by Shawn Herbst from the communications office of Netcare 911, at 6.48am Sunday morning (6 October), Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on President Fouché Drive in Sharonlea Randburg.

“Reports from the scene indicate that two vehicles were involved in a collision,” said Herbst.

Herbst added that three patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries and were treated on the scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

A few hours later at 11.43am Sunday morning (6 October), Netcare 911 also responded to reports of a collision on the N14 in Randburg.

“Reports from the scene indicated that two cars were involved in a collision resulting in one of the vehicles rolling down an embankment,” said Shawn Herbst from the communications office of Netcare 911.

Herbst added that three patients were found to have sustained minor injuries and once treated were transported by private ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

All necessary authorities were present at the scene.
