I work on fabric paper using food colouring and different types of ink pen sizes.

How did you get involved with the Touch of Genius Gallery seeing as you’re based in Pretoria?

I got involved with the gallery through my friend who introduced me to it. She was part of it before me. We are friends and partners who empower each other.

Apart from art, tell me about yourself?

I run a small business called the Nofijo Foundation which is aimed at impacting our youth. I help children with their careers who would be part of the art world and I am also an event planner, I do decor, make-up etc. You can check my work page on Instagram at @NOFIJO_EVENTS_DECOR and my art world on the @the_real_nosiphonyide.

I love deep house and RnB.

Where did you grow up and live?

I grew up in Newcastle in KwaZulu-Natal and studied at Newcastle High School and went to Tshwane University of Technology (art campus) and studied fine art.

One thing people should know is that they should look out for me because more is about to come. I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic person with strong passion and ambitions.

What’s next for you?

I’m about to bring out the unexpected.
