A 37-year-old suspect is expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court soon to face charges of murder.

According to Captain Makgowanyana Maja of the Randburg Police Station, on 24 August at about 11pm, on-duty officers received a call about an incident on the corner of Bram Fischer Drive and Jan Smuts Avenue.

“Upon their arrival, they met with a member of the public who pointed out the victim to them,” said Maja. The officers noted that the victim had stab wounds on the upper body.
